Owharo, leading the planning committee, along with his team, received a warm welcome at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), solidifying this summit’s impact.
The meeting, chaired by the Director of Political & Economic Affairs, underscored the federal government’s commitment to this groundbreaking summit. The Director, speaking on behalf of the SGF, Senator George Akume, highlighted the importance of Africa Infrastructure, Climate Change, and Green Investment Summit (AICIS) + Exhibition and Nigeria’s readiness to take center stage in the global climate action arena. Backed by years of credibility, this summit is attracting local and international partners eager to make real change.
Mr. Ibrahim A. Shelleng, the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Climate Finance & Stakeholder Engagement, emphasized that the summit’s success will resonate not only for Nigeria but for Africa as a whole.
